Lupita calls you: what to expect from her call
One day your phone rings and it's Lupita. Here is who she is and what you can expect.
Who Lupita is
Lupita is the AI companion of SaludCompartida, the service your family signed up for you. She calls to say hello, find out how you are and listen to you.
What she talks about
Whatever you want. How you woke up, what you ate, how the family is doing. There are no right or wrong answers, and you don't have to tell her anything you don't want to.
If something about health comes up, Lupita reminds you that you can talk to a doctor by video or phone, or to a psychologist, as part of your plan.
What you tell her is private
What you talk about with Lupita stays between the two of you. Your family in the United States only knows that there was a call and when. They never know what you talked about.
What Lupita does not do
- She never asks for your bank details or passwords.
- She does not prescribe medicine or give diagnoses.
- She does not handle emergencies. In an emergency, call 911.
If you would rather she not call
You can tell her during the call, or write to us on WhatsApp. It is your decision and we respect it.
If you are going through a hard time
You are not alone. Call Línea de la Vida at 800 911 2000. It is free and answers at any hour.
Lupita is an AI companion. She is not a doctor or a psychologist and does not handle emergencies. In an emergency in Mexico, call 911.
